I retired at the ripe old age of 55.
At the beginning, it was nice. Not having to go to work in the morning, catching up on long lost sleep, but after the first few months, it got rather boring. My wife spent a lot of her time with her friends. My friends were still working, and all three of my children had moved out. Most of my hours were spent watching old television shows and eating junk food. I soon began to realize that I needed to do something more with my life.
