Chapter 4

“Is this even real? Am I dreaming? Is someone playing a joke on me? Am I on “Punked”. How do you even wake up with a scratch on your face from a dream!?”

I just started asking my self all these questions. It was all weird. It isn’t normal. Something is weird about this house and I’m gunna unlock the secrets.

I went downstairs to get some water and make a sandwhich to just cool down. because maybe I scratched myself. Yeah. That’s it.

“No! No. I didn’t do it” I said out loud. “Didn’t do what?” My mom said with a stern tone. I jumped because I forgot she was home.

“Oh-” I got cut off. My mom nearly had a heart attack when she saw my face. “OMG WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE?!” she said while grabbing my arm to take my to the bathroom to get cleaned up.

“Well I don’t know. I woke up with it” I said. I really didn’t know. It was just so weird. “Do you abuse yourself in your sleep? geesh” My mom said. While getting the first aid kit.

I sat on the toilet while she cleaned the blood off my face then put medicine on it. It hurt so bad. But Oh well. Hopefully It’ll go away.

After we were done. I went to go call my bestfriend Kayee

Me: Hey Kayee

Her: Hey what’s up?

Me: Nothing much. Can I come over?

Her: Sure(:

And with that I said okay And we both hung up. I went to my closet and got my skinny jeans that had one rip on my left thigh and both knees had rips.

I Grabbed my “Fvck You” Half shirt and my hello kitty socks and my pair of slides. I went to put my clothes on. As I was put my shirt on.

It felt like someone had walked through me. It felt weird. I brushed it off. Then when I got my outfit on I looked in the mirror to see if it was cute.

I then saw a bloody face. Pop out of no where. I jumped back and screamed. I took a peek at the mirror.. Nothing was there.

“You’re going crazy Sydney” I told myself. I walked downstairs and told my mom I’ll be back later. She nodded okay And with that I walked out the door.

I was gunna walk since my bestfriend only lived one block down from me. I was walking about to put my headphones I get this strange feeling.

Like someones watching my every move. I turned back just to see nothing but cars. At this point I’m creeped out. I feel like who ever is watching me is staring into my soul.

I try to ignore it. I look back, all around. I look closer in the bushes and see a little girl. But not you ordinary little girl. This one had black eyes.

She was pale. Long black hair, and she smiled at me.. But it was weird because blood come out her mouth. She had bloody teeth too.

If I were to tell you I wasn’t scared I’d be lying. I kept walking. I got a pain on my ankle. I took a look at it to see that my ankle was bleeding.

I look back to see if I pasted any branches or sharp objects, or whatever. Nothing but the side walk. I look back down and see the pain and blood went away.

Then a hand appears holding me. This hand had sharp nails. They were dirty. And bloody. I got scared I tried to run. But Nothing.

I try to scream but nothing came out. Not a sound. I felt helpless. I was so scared. I felt someone shaking me.

I Open my eyes and see my mom. I see im in my bed. Laying down. I was sleeping. But it all felt so real. I thought I was awake. walking..

“Are you okay honey? I heard you screaming for help.” She looked at me. Like I had 2 heads. I said I’m fine.

Then the little girls face I saw in my dream appeared and said “You be okay for long” And left. I didnt jump or scream. I tried to stay calm.

But on the inside I was scared out of my mind. I explained to my mom the dream. “It was just a nightmare sweety” She told me rubbing my back.

I nodded in agreement. ” Okay well I’m leaving now for work. I’ll be back around 3am.I cooked you some mac and cheese for dinner” she said.

I told her okay. She gave me a kiss and left. I checked the time and it was 7pm. I went to wash my face. I stared in the mirror for a bit. “Am I going crazy?” I asked my self.

I walked away. and went downstairs. I watched tv for a couple of hours and fell asleep.

I woke up at 10pm good thing I didn’t have a bad dream.

I went to go eat. I sat back down to watch tv. The tv stopped working. It kept shutting off. I turned it back on and see that girls face . I threw the remot at the tv.

“Calm down Syd. It’s all in your head” I knew it wasn’t. But I just wish it was. It’s all so scary. I went to my room and turned my light on.

My light started flickering.I went downstairs again to get water. I saw a envolope slip threw my door.

I wasn’t gunna open it. But me being so nosy I did. It didn’t have information on it about who, what & where it came from.

I still opened. I nearly Had A heartattack when I read what it said.

“I’m watching you…”
