Stay away from the suburbs in Michigan

It took me a while to realize something was different.  People had always been friendly in my neighborhood and we always waved to each other whenever I was out riding a bike with my daughter or out working in the yard.  It was a gradual change, which is why I don’t think I noticed it right away.   It wasn’t until one day on our bike ride my daughter Allie asked me “How come we don’t see our neighbors anymore?”
