Chapter 1

I’m just a young 15 year old girl named Cassie that lives with my mom Kathrine, dad Bob, and a annoying brother named Jared. we live in a little town called Reno Nevada It’s the late 2000’s everyone knows everyone so words spreads quickly. today is October 31st Halloween, my favorite time of the year all of my friend’s and I are getting ready for a Halloween party and also a sleep over. It’s starting to get later I say goodbye to my family and tell them I’ll see them tomorrow. I’m at the party there is alcohol involved my friend’s and I get drunk and stupid we go upstairs to my friend’s brother’s room and lay down on his bed my friend Maddie was snooping around she suddenly found a Ouija board

she said “hey look at this”

I asked “what’s that”?

she replied “it’s a Ouija board I just found it in my brother’s closet”

I replied concerned “we shouldn’t be touching that you should put it back where you found it”

Maddie laughs “haha come on have you done anything crazy before in your life especially on Halloween? plus this whole thing is fake anyways”

there was a silent pause for a minute

I replied “well no I haven’t”

Maddie says “well let’s try it and sees what really happens” she smiles at Cassie

I say “well okay but only once deal”?

Maddie smiles and says “deal”
