Chapter 3

the next day arrives I wake up with such a bad hangover I wake up my friend Maddie she startles

“oh hey your awake you okay she asks”

“yeah I am where’s your brother John”?

“I don’t know why what’s wrong you sure your okay?

“yeah I am I’m just not feeling good and need to go home”

Maddie laughs “ha your just having a hangover from last night everything is okay just take some ibuprofen and it’ll go away” Maddie says

I look at her and say “no I really need to go home I feel like I’m gonna be sick”

Maddie says “okay let me go get my mom she should be upstairs”

“okay thank you”

I pack my clothes my head is throbbing suddenly having weird flashbacks that I don’t recognize at all I start to get freaked out.

moments later my friend’s mom knocks on the door and ask “Cassie are you ready to go home”?

I reply “yeah just give me a minute”

she says “no problem sweetie let me know take your time no rush”

I say “thanks” I hear her talking to Maddie and she ask

“how much you and Cassie drink last night”?

Maddie replies “mom we just had a few drinks that’s all”
I suddenly say startled them “it’s true I probably just ate something bad from home before I came here “

the mom says “oh your ready to go home now?”

I say “yes I am I’ll be in the car”

the mom looks at Maddie and whispers in her ear “we will talk later go up to your room”

Maddie gives her a dirty look and goes upstairs
