Chapter 14

We got down from the car and headed towards the bunglow. There was a noise inside. I could see many unknown faces and all were busy talking. The party was like family type. There was people of every age. Suddenly Dennis speaks ”Come let you both meet to my mom and dad” points towards the corner where they were. We were walking when suddenly a voice whisper ”He loves black”. I looked back there was no one. It was first time happening with me but I could recognize who said it. She was Janette as the phrase she whispers was as it is written in the bathroom mirror few minutes before but ”who the hell loves black?” I questioned myself. When I was in my thought Dennis speaks loudly ”Kelly what happen?”

”Nothing” I replied with a forceful smile as I was not okay.

Dennis introduced us to his mom and dad. When Cayla was talking to his mother, I made a conversation with his father.

”Hello Uncle” I said.

”Hello, Call me Mr. Carter. Its better to listen otherwise I feel like I’m old enough” he corrected and smiled. I laughed too. ”So are you new in the city?” he asked.

”Yup, Mr. Carter. Actually I came here the last month” I replied.

”Oh I see. So where you live?” he asked.

‘Umm” I was about to answer, when again I hear whispering”He loves black, he loves black” continuously. I clap my hands to my ear, closed my eyes and screamed ”Stop! I said stop! Janette just stop it”

”Janette???”
