Chapter 19

That’s my dad’s car. We ran towards the car. It was empty, Mr. Carter was not there. We can’t find him. We looked all around but he was not there. There was blood in some places.

“What’s there?” Dennis asked indicating towards the floor.

We went there and saw Mr. Carter’s body. It was all blood. His neck was cut, eyes were rolled out, blood was bleeding through every part. We took the body to Dennis bungalow. His mom was shocked and when she saw the body she fainted. I couldn’t imagine that last night I met him, talked with him than saw the dream and today he is dead. It’s damn painful to loose the one you love the most and I can feel the pain of Dennis but I couldn’t console him. He should be alone at this moment so I left for home.

I was wondering why Janette killed him and why would she show me the dream. Is this was the end of it or something more has to be happen. I was in my thoughts when nany came to my room.

“What happen Kelly? What are you thinking about?” Nany asked me keeping her hand on my shoulder.

“Nothing much nany, my friend Dennis lost his dad” I replied and hugged her. At that moment I was feeling so lonely. I was missing mom.

“It’s so difficult na nany to loose someone” I said giving her hug.

She pulled me from her hug and replied “I know Kelly, its too hard but the life must go on with a new start. You can’t stop thinking this na”.

“Ya nany I know” I replied with a smile. After talking with nany I felt a bit relax but still the thoughts were not leaving me. Every second it was questioning me about all this stuff. I took a nap and again went to Dennis bungalow.

Mr. Carter POV (Before death)

“Hello” From the other side of the phone.

“Hello!! Its me Joseph” I replied.

“Ya ya your number is save on my mobile. What happened you dialled my number” He asked.

“Kelly is searching for the truth behind Jannete’s suicide. You know na if she reveals the truth it gonna ruin our life not only me infact yours too” I said.

“What? I’ll fix it” He replied.

“Ya you fix it out soon. Bye” I hang up saying it.
