Chapter 23

John’s POV

“Whats the matter baby? Why you looked so tensed? Any bigger problem”

“Ya. It can really be a problem. I don’t know how to deal with this problem. I don’t wanna loose you nor Kelly. She is my daughter and I cannot effort to loose her.” I replied. “But if Kelly comes to know the truth I don’t know she’ll be able to accept me or not or like her mother she’ll also refuse to stay with me”

“Cool down john. She’ll never be able to reveal the truth as there is no one to tell her about it. Neither her mother nor Mr. Carter.”

“But how she knew about Janette Bell. I have never took her name in this house. If she comes to know ‘why she committed suicide’ than you know she’ll know the whole truth. She’ll also know that her mother’s death was not an accident it was a murder because she knew everything that we did and so we have to kill her” I replied.

“Ya I know. We have to sought it out soon.”

Kelly’s POV

When the conversations were going on I was standing right beside the door, it was all clear and distinct. I could visualize each and every moment that happened in the room. Holding my mouth I ran to my room and siting in the floor I just burst into tears. The scenario of the room was still in my head, it was all repeating again and again. “How could he do that?” “She was my mother and his wife” “How can one be so cruel?” My head was speaking. I was devastated with the betrayal of my father that too also for that lady. She is a bitch, she ruined my mother’s life. Thinking about all this things when my eyes closed I slept I didn’t even realized. I slept while sitting in the floor and holding my mother’s photo in my hand.

“Kelly” A voice woke me up.

“Mom” I murmured and as soon as I open my eyes I saw that bitch in front of me and I realized how can I compare her voice with my mom. I rubbed my eyes and sat on the bed. Again with her over sweet voice she took my name.

“Kelly, sweetheart why are you sitting in the floor? Missing your mom?” Nany asked.

I replied in a usual tone as I don’t want to let them know about all this ” Ya nany yesterday I missed her alot. I wish she was with me.”

“I’m there with you always dear. When you miss your mom, come to me sweetheart. You can share anything with me.” Nany replied and gave her hand on my head. Then she went out of the room with a smile.

Her touch, voice and each and everything were so annoying. But I have to hold my emotions and try to disclose the truth carefully. Then with a cool mind I recalled the last nights conversation to look for a clue about something that can lead me towards the way to find the truth. Dad said that “my mom knew everything about there past. Is there anything more above all this”. I was confused and was in my thoughts when my phone rang. I took it without looking who called

“Hello”

“Hi Kelly, you okay?” A voice asked with a caring voice. I recognized it.

“Ya I’m okay, Dennis. Thank you for your concern” I replied. Though I was not okay I lied  him as I don’t wanna disturb him. He was also going through a awful pain.

“Oh, actually I was messaging you form last 10 minutes but no reply so I thought there may be any problem so I called you” He replied.

“Oops sorry I didn’t realize. My phone was on charge in a silent mode so. Anything urgent you wanna say.” I asked.

“No not really, feeling lonely so thought to disturb you” He replied and smiled. “Umm can we meet for a while if you are not busy” He asked.

“Ya sure, I have nothing much work to do” I replied.

“Okay than after an hour in my place”

“Sure, see ya” I replied and hang up.

I wanna a go out from these place and its more than better to go and spend some with Dennis. I’ll be relax and going to Mr. Carter’s bungalow may helpful for me to look for some evidence. So not taking much time I got ready and without having the breakfast and informing nany went out.
